Learn English: Eating out in Australia

There are lots of options when it comes to eating out in Australia. Here are some useful words that are good to know when you are eating out.

A2 sweet food eaten at the end of a meal:
a dessert fork/spoon
For dessert there's apple pie or fruit.
If you make the main course, I'll make a dessert.

to eat the main meal of the day, usually in the evening:
I hate dining alone.
We dined by candlelight.
