Inner city life အေၾကာင္းစကားလံုးမ်ား (Australian innner city life)

• CBD = centeral business area  (အတိုေကာင္ မၾကာခန ၾကားရတတ္ပါတယ္)
• Apartment = တိုက္ခန္း
• Intercom အင္တာကြန္မ္= တိုက္ခန္းမ်ားအတြက္ စကားေျပာစက္ ။ တိုက္နံပါတ္ ၂၀၀ က အခန္း ၂၀ မွာ သူငယ္ခ်င္းေနရင္ intercom ကို security door လို.ေခါတဲ. အဓိကတစ္ခါးၾကီးနားမွာ intercom မွာ နံပါတ္ ၂၀ ကိုႏွိပ္ျပီး ေရာက္ေနေၾကာင္းေျပာႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
• Patio ( ပက္တီယို) = outside balcony (တိုက္ခန္း အျပင္ဘက္ လသာေဆာင္ ေသးေလး)
• Pot plants = plants in pots (အိုးထဲထည့္စိုက္ရေသာ အပင္မ်ား)
• Pedestrians (ပတ္ဒတ္စတီးရန္း)= လမ္းေလ်ွာက္သူမ်ား။
• Pub = အရက္ေတြ။ တစ္ခါတစ္ေလ အစားအစာပါရတဲ. ေနရာ (local hotel ပါ) မ်ားေသာအားျဖင့္ေအာက္ထက္မွာပါ။ အေပါထက္က small hotel ျဖစ္ျပီး၊ ဒီက ေအာ္ဆီအမ်ားစု ေသာၾကာ၊ စေနေန.ေတြမွာ သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြနဲ. သြားေနၾကလူမွဳေရးလုပ္တဲ.ေနရာေတြပါ။
• Brunch = late breakfast or early lunch (ညဘက္ Pub ေတြသြားျပီး စေနလို.ေန.ေတြမွာ နံနက္စာ ေနာက္ၾကစား ျပီး၊ ေန.လည္စာလဲမက်လို. ဘရန္.ခ် (brunch) လို.ေခါပါတယ္။ မွတ္လားပါ ဘရန္. (ခ်)ပါ။

Australia သူ၊သားမ်ားကို စကားေျပာခ်င္လ်င္သိထားရမည့္ စကားလံုးမ်ား

1. G'day mate! = (Good day, mate လို.အသံထြက္ပါတယ္) ေကာင္းေသာေန့ပါ သူငယ္ခ်င္း။
2. How ya going? = ေနေကာင္းလား။ (how you goin?)
3. You rekon? = မင္းေသခ်ာလား (are you sure?) eg. I think it's gonna rain. You rekon?
4. Too right! = definitely (ဟုတ္တယ္ ေသခ်ာေပါက္ပဲ) (yes I am right)
5. Catcha later (catch you later လို.အသံထြက္) = see you later (ေနာက္မွေတြ.မယ္)
6. Dead set! = something that impresses somebody. They might say dead set! Meaning are you sure or that's incredible ေသခ်ာလား (၀ါ) မိုက္တယ္ကြာ အရမ္းေကာင္းတယ္။ Eg. There is a big car crush on the freeway. Dead set! (are you sure?)
7. Bonzer! = something is really good. = excellent = အရမ္းေကာင္းတယ္။
8. Esky (အက္စကီ) = အစားအစာ (၀ါ) အခ်ိဳေရ အရက္မ်ား ကိုေအးေအာင္လုပ္ေသာ ေရခဲဘံုး။ (ကမ္းေျခေတြပါေတြသြားရင္ ယူသြားျပီး ထိုင္ခံုအျဖစ္လဲအသံုးၾကပါတယ္)
